Most of the video clips in the member section are encoded with MPEG4 for DivX/XviD compatibility and a good combination of image quality vs. file size. There is normally no problem to play these on a modern computer with a media player, but please ensure that you can view the videos by downloading the clip on the preview page (also available here).

In a few cases there could be a codec (video decoder) missing to play the clip and in this case one option is to download an updated package of video codecs. One good and popular one is the K-Lite Codec Pack which you can download from here:

If you don't want to download codecs separately, another option would be the free VideoLAN media player which is known to play almost every known format without any hassle:
